My parents stayed here and couldn't fault anything. Rooms very clean and comfortable and surroundings and decor very tasteful. Food excellent with friendly and efficient staff. Owner Lynn went out of her way to welcome us. Will certainly return.
Ate at Amarone Thistle, the Italian restaurant. Food is superb, and the service very professional and polite. Have visited several times and never been disappointed. Well recommended to anybody looking for Italian, or traditional fair.

A lovely country house hotel in Hawick. I stayed for one night on a business trip. Was upgraded to a better room and had a great night's sleep in the tower. Food in the restaurant was great. Recommended.
