A lovely place with good facilities. Staff were friendly and more than helpful. I did however wake up with a hangover which was a surprise as this was not explained to me on arrival. Five stars.
Beautiful location and accommodating staff. No attendants on duty overnight but not an issue due to secluded location and excellent facilities. Can recommend the fantastic hike up to the Ruberslaw at dawn for one of the best views for many, many miles.
Excellent camping experience. Beautiful grounds and some great walks. If you want quiet and peaceful go Mon to Fri when kids are at school. Great for family adventures. Lots of wildlife and birdsong.
We keep returning to Ruberslaw and are never disappointed. Stunning setting - whether in the woods, or in the Walled Garden. Great and spotless communal facilities. Really friendly and helpful staff - special shout out to Nicky for helping with our booking changes and Ray for superb uplift service up to the woods.
Very nice place to stay for a night. Well looked after gardens and peaceful apart from the kids that just tore around. A nice family site with excellent facilities. Clean and a very good standard of hardware. No crappy b&q showers which was nice. Lovely walk around the lanes stroking horses and watching the sheep. There's a severe lack of a pub though, so byob. Not much to do around the area but worth it all the same.
